The Challenge

An IoT startup needed to validate a digital fill-level measurement concept with a working proof of concept. The core problem was straightforward but technically demanding: capture sensor data from distributed devices, process it in real time, and present actionable insights through intuitive dashboards - all within a tight three-month timeline.

Our Approach

We designed and built the platform end-to-end as Lead Engineer, covering full-stack development, system architecture, and IoT device integration. The architecture followed an event-driven pattern, with sensor data flowing through scalable message pipelines into a processing layer capable of handling high-frequency updates without data loss.

On the frontend, we built real-time monitoring dashboards that gave operators immediate visibility into fill levels across all connected devices. The system was designed to scale horizontally - adding new sensors required zero architectural changes.

The Results

The proof of concept was delivered within three months, fully demonstrating real-time data capture, processing, and visualization. The event-driven architecture proved its value by handling concurrent sensor streams without bottlenecks, and the platform provided the technical foundation the startup needed to move into its next funding round with confidence.
