1. General information and mandatory disclosures

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Withdrawing your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of data protection law, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection matters is the data protection officer of the German federal state in which our company is based. 2. Data collection on this website

Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Cookies

Some of our web pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offering more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

3. Hosting

Hetzner Cloud

We host our website with Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (hereinafter “Hetzner”). Hetzner is a German hosting provider whose data centres are located in Germany and Finland.

When you visit our website, your personal data is processed on Hetzner's servers. In particular, the server log data mentioned above may be transmitted to Hetzner.

Hetzner is used on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable presentation of our website possible. Where corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Hetzner. This is a contract required by data protection law which ensures that Hetzner processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

4. Analytics tools

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymisation: We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address is truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services relating to website and internet use.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly; please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

Google Analytics is used on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

5. SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, your enquiry including all personal data resulting from it (name, email address, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is connected with the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) where this has been requested.

The data you send us via a contact enquiry remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

7. Rights of data subjects

Within the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

  • information about the personal data we store about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate personal data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure of the personal data we store about you (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing of your personal data (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • object to the processing of your personal data (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. 8. Validity and changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently valid and dated March 2026. As our website develops further, or due to changed statutory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy. You can call up and print out the current privacy policy on the website at any time.
